Mentoring Programme

The first semester in Freiburg is a very exciting time for all new students! Therefore our mentors, a team of advanced GSP students, are there to help and guide the new arrivals. They offer consultation hours as well as One-to-One-Mentoring to provide a low-threshold help for academic and hands-on matters. This passing on of personal and academic hands-on experiences is an essential basis for a successful organisation of the following semesters. Especially for international students, mentoring is a big opportunity to help cutting down cultural and institutional barriers. Besides, the mentors organize social activities like the Kick-off Meeting and the hut-weekend in the beginning of the semester. Here you can find some impressions of the latest activities.
